Season 1 Episode 7:  "Columbo" Blueprint for Murder  (TV Episode 1972) This episode was directed by Columbo himself - Peter Falk. It was written by Steven Bochco, William Levinson and William Kelley. The three best outfits from this episode are: 1) Bo Williamson’s western ranch outfit:     Here he is rocking a tan suit with western styling and gold stripe pearl snap western shirt, silk cowboy scarf, and a cowboy hat with a snakeskin band.      And of course cowboy boots. Impeccable.  Later he puts on a sporty cream colored leather sheepskin coat:   The belt buckle and cargo pockets are next level.        The collar looks so soft and warm, literally to die for.        2) Goldie Williamson's entire wardrobe rocks.
