  Pilot 2, Columbo - Ransom for a Dead Man (1971)     This is the second Columbo pilot movie to feature Peter Falk, and was directed by Richard Irving. Leslie Williams's pilot outfit:  Mrs. Williams is wearing a floral silk scarf on her head and amber aviator shades.  Her long white coat is lined in bright red silk, and her pants and shoes are all white. She's like the Red Baron, but the White Baron.  2. Nancy the secretary's gray and white citrus wedge skirt with a necktie:  She's wearing an a-line miniskirt with the cutest print that resembles lemon slices, but in gray.  Her matching blouse and wide white tie bring it all together.    3. Season 3, Episode 2:  “Columbo” Any Old Port in a Storm (TV Episode 1973) This episode was directed by Leo Penn and written by Stanley Ralph Ross, Larry Cohen, and Richard Levinson. The three best outfits in this episode are: 1) Joan Stacey’s white knit outfit when she goes to Columbo’s office to report her fiancé missing:    This is a white ribbed mock turtleneck sweater under a long knit cardigan vest with cut-out square pattern and matching skirt     Very striking with her giant gold tree sapling necklace.  2) Enrico Carsini’s leisurewear:      This is a butterfly collar brown denim with white contrast stitch western shacket. It has all the bells and whistles - epaulets, back flair:      Side slits as well.
