Season 5, Episode 3, Columbo - A Matter of Honor (1976)   This episode was directed by Ted Post and written by Brad Radnitz, William Link, and Richard Levinson.  The three best outfits in this episode are:  1) Nina Montoya's floral blouse and denim maxi skirt:  She's wearing a red and white psychedelic floral blouse with a long denim skirt with diagonal seams, and a wide pink abstract headband  Nice disco ranchwear.      2) Curro's tie-front shirt:      This is a bold outfit for a bold young man.    3) Montoya's suede shirt with piping:  This is either microfiber velour or beige suede with navy western piping and big white snaps.    Honorable mention for fashion goes out to Nina's ski racer blouse. We only saw this for a few seconds. We need to see more. It's glorious.  The funniest moments in this episode are when Columbo is charged by a big baby bull   Also worth mentioning is the similarity of a few lines here to lines from "The Princess Bride" - Pe

Season 5, Episode 3, Columbo - Identity Crisis (1975)     This episode was directed by Patrick McGoohan, and written by William Driskill, Richard Levinson and William Link.    The three best outfits in this episode are:    1) Nelson Brenner, CIA spy, in a white jacket and plaid pants:      He's wearing a jazzed up white disco blazer  Paired with a russet red turtleneck and plaid flare pants, he cuts a striking figure.    2) The Carnival Photographer's psychedelic button down:  This shirt is a dream, as is the navy and red western get up walking through the frame.  Psychedelic disco casual men's leisurewear on display at the photo booth.    3) Nelson Brenner twinning with Janice Benedict from S3E1 Etude in Black in a yellow turtleneck and navy shacket:  This is a good look, worthy of recycling.      The navy with white contrast stitching is nautical and sporty, and the yellow ribbed knit turtleneck underneath is a nice pop of color.  Honorable mention for fashion goes out t

Season 5, Episode 2, Columbo - A Case of Immunity (1975)   This episode was directed by Ted Post, and written by Lou Shaw, James Menzies, and Richard Levinson.  The three best outfits in this episode are:  1) Xenia's red outfit:  She's wearing a bright red pussy bow blouse under a ribbed cardigan sweater dress.  The puffy sleeves add a little flair to her diplomatic wardrobe.    2) Rachman Habib's flowing robe over revolutionary student's outfit:      This looks like a nice light blue velveteen thobe with yellow and white embroidery, that he whips off in a switcheroo to reveal a protester's denim Canadian tuxedo with maroon jacket underneath:   The jacket has big brass buttons and shoulder epaulets giving it a military style.  Due to a lack of noteworthy outfits in this episode, we will focus more heavily on the humor, of which there is plenty.   First we have Hassan motivating Habib by channeling Star Wars by saying, "Try, Rahman? Try? A child tries. A man acc
